ABOUT ME
I am an interdisciplinary artist based in North Wales working with photography, sculpture and text art amongst other mediums.
My practice explores, and documents, a variety of growing, and interrelated subject areas, that have evolved into quiet, enduring obsessions; detail, opposites, decay, the intervention of light and attitude, gender issues, barriers and the power of the multiple. It all moves on whilst shifting around complex fascinations.
I welcome a sense of mystery and intrigue in my work; an indefinable unknown that exists beyond the surface. My interests include exploring and documenting things that fall outside the ‘ideal’. My work often contains social commentary and expresses thoughts about the world we live in today.
AND THAT
In 2006 I graduated from Liverpool John Moores with a degree in Fine Art. I also have an HND in ceramics. I have taken part in a number of exhibitions, including Wrexham’s Oriel and Undegun galleries. Currently I am completing an MFA at Wrexham Glyndwr university.
